Sikdar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. It is contended by the petitioner that inspite of the order of this Court passed earlier on 12.02.2021, passed in WP(C)/608/2021, the petitioner was arrested on Page No.# 2/2 20.12.2024, by the Superintendent of Police (Border) of Tarabari P.S., and he was in custody at Matia detention camp, District- Goalpara. 3. From the order dated 12.02.2021, passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in WP(C)/608/2021, it is seen that protection was given to one, Ashak Ali stating that the impugned ex-parte opinion dated 12.02.2020, passed by the learned Foreigner’s Tribunal-7th, Barpeta in FT Case No. 354/17, will not be applicable to Ashak Ali, the petitioner of said WP(C)/608/2021, whereas the impugned opinion was passed by the concerned Foreigner’s Tribunal against Ashok Ali, son of Rahamat, Village- Chata, District- Barpeta. 4. In the present contempt petition before us, we have seen that it has been filed by the petitioner Ashok Ali. 5. At this stage, Mr. Sikdar, learned counsel for the petitioner submits and prays for withdrawal of this contempt petition. 6. Prayer is allowed. 7. Petition stands dismissed on not being pressed.
