The learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the ad interim order dated 16th April, 2025, passed by this Court. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, pursuant to the ad interim direction, the petitioner was provisionally permitted to participate in Stage III of the recruitment process as well as in future stages. It is informed that the petitioner has succeeded in the same and is granted appointment, subject to outcome of the present writ petition. He has also invited our attention to observations in paragraph 7 of the said order, which provides for the reasons for passing such an ad interim order. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further invite our attention to the order dated 21st July, 2026, passed by this Court in W.P.(C) This is a digitally signed order. In view of the aforesaid position, the grievance of the petitioner stood redressed and as such, petitioner stood inducted in the employment of the respondent. 4. That being so, the petition stands disposed of as infructuous in view of the aforesaid development. 5. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. 6. It is, as such, urged that pursuant to the ad interim order, not only has the petitioner participated provisionally in Stage III of the recruitment process, but has also participated in the subsequent stages and has now been successfully inducted. 4. It is urged that the petition, as such, can be disposed of. 5. Learned counsel for the respondent does not dispute the aforesaid factual position and states that he has instructions to state that the present writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the ad interim order dated 16th April, 2025. 6. In the aforesaid background, we deem it appropriate to record that, since the petitioner has been successfully inducted under the ad interim order of this Court and the respondents are stating that the petition can be disposed of. 7.
