The petitioner in the instant petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution claims to have been engaged/appointed as Lambardar on temporary basis for the village Banderpora in terms of Order No. 528/TB/ACHS/22-23 dated 28.03.2024 by the respondent No. 3 herein and extended time to time by the competent authority, however, the petitioner has not been paid salary/remuneration by the respondents for the services rendered by him as Lambardar despite the petitioner having made multiple requests/representations in this regard. 2. The counsel for the petitioner while making his submissions in line with the case setup in the petition would pray for the disposal of the writ petition at this stage with the direction to the respondents to consider his case for payment of salary/remuneration for the services rendered by the petitioner as Lambardar without any further delay. 3. At this stage, Mr. Bikramdeep Singh, Dy. AG, enters appearance on behalf of the respondents and is not averse to the submission made by the petitioner, however, would submit that the claim made by the counsel for the Abdul Rashid Ganaie I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document WP ( C ) No. 280/2025 petitioner for payment of salary/remuneration would be considered in accordance with law and applicable rules, if the petitioner is found entitled thereto. 4. Having regard to the case setup by the petitioner in the instant petition inasmuch as, the respective submissions of the appearing counsel for the parties, the instant petition is disposed of at this stage with the consent of the appearing counsel for the parties with the direction to the respondents to effectively consider the case of the petitioner for payment of salary/remuneration against the post of Lambardar claimed to have been held by the petitioner pursuant to the engagement/appointment order dated 28th March, 2023, in accordance with law and applicable rules. The said consideration be accorded, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced by the petitioner before the respondents. 5.
