Mr. Behura, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicants, who seek appointment of sole arbitrator. He submits, his clients are one party in lease deed dated 1st August, 2020. Opposite party is the other. The deed contains arbitration agreement by clause-17, for disputes to be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator to be appointed on consent of both parties. 2. By notice dated 28th April, 2023 his clients had suggested name of sole arbitrator. There was no response. On filing the application there was direction for issuance of notice. There is noting of valid service. Opposite party has chosen to go unrepresented. 3. On query made Mr. Behura submits, the claim would amount approximately to ₹30,00,000/-. 4. It appears from aforesaid notice dated 28th April, 2023, a learned senior advocate of this Court was suggested to be sole arbitrator. Opposite party is consistent in choosing to not respond. This Court has confidence in the learned senior advocate suggested by applicant. Accordingly, Sri Bibekananda Bhuyan, learned senior advocate is appointed as sole arbitrator. 5.
