The present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- “(i) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to regularize/appoint the petitioner on regular basis against the vacant post which is lying vacant in the university at present. (ii) Issue a Writ, Order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents authorities to complete the process of regularization of the petitioner within a prescribed period as this Hon’ble Court deems fit. 1 2025:UHC:3789 (iii) Pass any other writ, order or direction, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. (iv) Award the cost of the writ petition to the petitioner.” 2. Heard Mr. Shubhang Dobhal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.(Dr.) K.H. Gupta, learned counsel for the respondents. 3. Both the parties submitted that the present matter is covered by the Order dated 20.03.2018, passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No.425 of 2014 and the Order dated 24.12.2024, passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No.44 of 2024. 4. With the consent of both the parties, the present Writ Petition (WPSS No.772 of 2025) is disposed of in terms of the Order dated 20.03.2018, passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No.425 of 2014 and the Order dated 24.12.2024, passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Writ Petition (S/S) No.44 of 2024. ___________________ ALOK KUMAR VERMA, J.
