By the present petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to issue a social status certificate/caste certificate to the petitioner as Other Backward Class (OBC) (Manihaar). 2 2. At the very outset, learned counsel appearing for the State, on instructions, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner was incomplete and, as such, the same was returned to the petitioner and he was asked to contact the nearest Lok Seva Kendra for details. He would further submit that in the event the petitioner cure the defects, as pointed by the authorities, his application will be considered and decided, in accordance with law. 3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the State, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the nearest Lok Seva Kendra and in the event of submission of proper application form by the petitioner, the authorities concerned are directed to consider and issue the social status certificate/caste certificate to the petitioner, after following the due process of law. 4. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. 5. Certified copy today.
