This petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding respondents to extend the benefit of petitioner in the light of the Government Order, No- 2850/Pandrah-15-46(24)/82 dated 30.08.1989 to the petitioner, within stipulated period as may be specified of this Hon'ble Court. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding respondents to extend the benefit of previous service rendered by the petitioner Dayanand College, Ajmer on the post of Lecturer- Physical Education." 3. The sole contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation dated 27.6.2024 was submitted by the petitioner before the Vice-Chancellor seeking benefit of change in nomenclature of the post in terms of the Government Order dated 30.8.1989, which is still pending. He seeks an adjournment on the aforesaid representation. 4. Shri Avneesh Tripathi, learned counsel for the respondent nos.3 and 4, states that the competent authority will take a decision on the aforesaid representation. 5. Under the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority of the respondent- University to take a decision on the aforesaid representation dated 27.6.2024 filed alongwith Annexure-9 to the writ petition, at page no.56 thereof, expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before it.
