Kashmiri Lal vs. Bihari Lal RSA No. 496 of 2016 23.09.2025 Present: Mr. Aman Hansretta, Advocate, vice counsel for the appellant. Mr. Janesh Gupta, Advocate, for the respondent. On 29.8.2025, learned counsel for the appellant had apprised the Court that the sole appellant has died during the pendency of the appeal and he had thus sought time to have instructions. Today, again he makes a prayer for adjournment on the ground that he could not receive instructions. Since the sole appellant has already died, the appeal cannot proceed in his absence or of his legal representatives, if any. In result, the appeal is dismissed as abated.
