1. The photostat copy of the Vakalatnama filed on behalf of Respondent No.2 on 08.05.2026 along with receipt are filed by Mr. Ashok Kumar Behera, learned counsel.
2. Ms. Suchitra Sahoo, learned counsel for the Appellant- Insurance Company and Mr. Ashok Kumar Behera, learned counsel for the Claimant - Respondent No.2 and Mr. Bibekananda Bal, Manager (Legal) of the Appellant- Insurance Company are present.

This appeal has been filed by the Appellant-Insurance Company, challenging the judgment and order dated 19.04.2025 passed by the learned 4th M.A.C.T., Odagaon in MAC Case No. 119/04 of 2015-23 (CIS No. 05 of 2023) directing the Appellant- Insurance Company to pay an amount of Rs.5,79,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Seventy-Nine thousand) only to the Respondents No.1 and 2-Claimants alongwith interest at the rate of 6.5% per annum from the date of filing i.e. 03.11.2015.

In full and final settlement of the claim, it is now agreed between the Appellant-Insurance and the Respondents No. 2- Claimant that consolidated amount of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six lakhs) only which includes interest shall be paid by the Appellant- Insurance to the Respondents No.1 to 2-Claimants within a period of eight weeks.
5. The compromise memo signed by Ms. Suchitra Sahoo,
learned counsel for the Appellant - Insurance Company, Mr. Ashok Kumar Behera, learned counsel for the Respondent No.2 and Mr. Bibekananda Bal, Legal Manager, of the Appellant - Insurance Company is taken on record.

It is therefore directed that the Appellant - Insurance Company shall deposit the aforesaid consolidated amount of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six lakhs) only with includes interest within a period of eight weeks from today before the Tribunal. The amount shall be apportioned/invested and/or disbursed to the Respondents-Claimants as per the direction of the Tribunal.
7. As the settlement is arrived at before the National Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied. On production of proof of deposit, the statutory amount shall be refunded to the Appellant- Insurance Company along with accrued interest, on proper application.
8. The MACA is accordingly disposed of.
9. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
