By the impugned order dated 17.05.2025 passed by the Chief Engineer (Distribution), Prayagraj Zone-II, Prayagraj/respondent No.3, the petitioner has been transferred from district-Prayagraj to district Pratapgarh. The petitioner has been posted as Office Assistant in the respondent No.4/Superintending Engineer (Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd.), Electricity Distribution Circle II, Prayagraj for more than three years. The petitioner has been transferred in the regular turn over of the staff. The order of transfer can be assailed on the limited grounds of malafides or infraction of statute. None has been asserted or established before this Court. No violation of any statute has been shown. No employee has a vested right to be transferred to any place of his/her choice. The transfer policy does not confer any enforceable rights upon the petitioner. No interference is warranted in the impugned order of transfer. The writ petition is dismissed.
