PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following order: Accused No.6 in Crime No.175 of 2024 of Hindupur II Town Police Station, Anantapur District filed the present criminal petition seeking anticipatory bail. The said crime was registered for the offences under Sections 109(1), 118(1) read with 3(5) of BNS. The case of the prosecution is that on 10.09.2024 at about
2. 7 p.m., A-1 to A-7 attacked the de facto complainant and his elder brother near water tank, Pochanapalli village, Hindupur. A1 said to have beat both the de facto complainant and his brother with iron rod. A-1 beat the de facto complainant on the left side of the head whereas A2 to A-7 beat him on his right hand as a result the de facto complainant received severe bleeding injuries. The accused also beat
2 the brother of the de facto complainant. When the villagers reached the spot, all the accused escaped from the scene.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that A-1, who caused grievous injury on the head of the de facto complainant, was already arrested, A2 to A4 were also arrested by the police, who were remanded to judicial custody.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the injury attributed to the petitioner is simple in nature and the injury attributed against A1, who attacked the de facto complainant with iron road, is grievous in nature. The incident took place on 10.09.2024 and the police could not arrest the petitioner till today.
4. In view of the above facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain
5. conditions: i) The petitioner/A-6 is directed to surrender before the Station House Officer, Hindupur II Town Police Station, Ananthapur District, on or before 10.04.2025. On such surrender, the Station House Officer, Hindupur II Town Police Station, Ananthapur District, is directed to release the petitioner/A-6 on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with two sureties for the like sum each to the satisfaction of the Station House Officer, Hindupur II Town Police Station, Ananthapur District. ii) The petitioner shall make himself available for interrogation as and when required, and he shall not, directly or
3 indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. iii) The petitioner/A-6 is
directed to appear before the Station House Officer, Hindupur 11 Town Police Station, Ananthapur District, twice in a week i.e., on every Monday and Friday between 10.00 A.M. and 01.00 P.M. until further orders.
6. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any shall stand closed.
