The matter pertains to a complaint as regards illegal construction at premises no. B/4/H/3 Gora Chand Road, Police Station Beniapukur, Kolkata – 700 014, ward no.60, borough-VI of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “said property”). 3. The petitioner is a resident of 46, Ismail Street Police Station, Entally, Kolkata -700 014, while the construction that is allegedly carried out is at premises no. B/4/H/3 Gora Chand Road, Police Station Beniapukur, Kolkata – 700 014. 2 WPA 230 of 2024 4. The petitioner had entered into any agreement with the respondent no.7 for development and construction of additional floors in the said property. The petitioner claims that a G+4 storied building has now come up. 5. From the above, it is not clear whether the petitioner was himself partly to the illegality. No disclosure of the sanction plan has been made. 6. Having regard thereto, I am not inclined to entertain the writ petition, the same is accordingly dismissed. However, the above order shall not deter the municipal authorities from taking steps in accordance with law in relation to the illegal construction, if any, at the said property.
