Although several prayers have been made in the writ petition but at the time of making oral submission, learned counsel for the petitioner has only pressed relief no.2, which is for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding respondent no.2 to decide the arbitration case pending before him at the behest of the petitioner against the award of the competent authority made under the provisions of the Railways Act. 2. We notice that the challenge before the arbitrator was made on 15.01.2025. The order-sheet of the case has not been annexed and counsel for the petitioner states that the same is not available. 3. The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to pray for expeditious disposal of the proceedings by filing appropriate application before the arbitrator. It is further provided that in the event, any such application is filed, respondent no.2 would take appropriate action in the pending matter in accordance with law. 4.
