CRR(F)-1268-2023 (O&M) 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH CRR(F)-1268-2023 (O&M) Date of Decision:09.07.2025 Preeti and another ......Petitioners Versus Ashok Kumar ......Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JASGURPREET SINGH PURI Present:- Ms. Monika Jangra, Advocate for the petitioners. ***** JASGURPREET SINGH PURI J.(Oral) 1. Notice in the application for condonation of delay was issued on 04.09.2023 but counsel for the petitioner did not file the process fee. This was reported by the Registry at that time, stating that notice could not be issued for want of process fee. 2. Still, on 31.01.2025, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that inadvertently, the process fee could not be filed qua the respondents and she may be permitted to file the process fee. Accordingly, this Court directed issuance of fresh notice to the respondent upon filing of the process fee within a period of one week. 3. The Registry has again reported that the notice could not be issued to respondents because process fee was not filed. 4. In this manner, despite two opportunities, learned counsel for the petitioner failed to comply with the Court’s directions regarding the filing of process fee.
