Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The petitioners by means of this writ petition, have prayed for the following relief :- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to respondent no.2 for transferring the nursing registration of the petitioners from the Karnataka State Nursing Council, Bengaluru to Uttar Pradesh nurses and midwives council, Lucknow, as early as possible within a month." 3. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of respondent no. 2, wherein it has been stated in paragraph no. 9 that the institution from which the petitioners have done their nursing course is not recognized by Indian Nursing Council and therefore, the transfer application of the petitioners cannot be entertained. 4. Since the institution from which the petitioners have done their nursing course is not recognized by Indian Nursing Council and for this reason the petitioners' application for transfer from the State of Karnataka to the State of Uttar Pradesh cannot be allowed, therefore we do not find any merit in the present writ petition and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
