By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "a) issue, a writ order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent Authorities, to consider the Out-of Turn promotion of the petitioner from the post of Head Constable to Sub-Inspector in Civil Police on the basis of Sports Performance of the petitioner, in accordance with the Rule 16 & 18 (1) of the Uttar Pradesh (Skilled Players) Recruitment and Promotion Without Innings Rules-2021. b) issue, a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus, directing the Respondent Authorities, to grant Out-of-Turn promotion to the petitioner from the post of Head Constable to Sub-Inspector in Civil Police on the basis of Sports Performance of the petitioner, in accordance with the Rule 16 & 18 (1) of the Uttar Pradesh (Skilled Players) Recruitment and Promotion Without Innings Rules-2021." 3. It is submitted that in the above regard petitioner has approached the authority by making detailed representation for claiming on 13.02.2025 but no order has been passed thereupon, copy of representation is brought on records as Annexure No. 14 to the petition. 4. Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event representation of petitioner is directed to be disposed of by the respondent in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above this petition is disposed of with direction to the respondent No.3 to consider and disposed of the pending representation of petitioner dated 13.02.2025 within a period of two months from the production of certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law and by means of a reasoned and speaking order.
