02/21.02.2025 Heard the Parties.
Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Dumka (T) P.S. Case No. 68/2024, registered under Sections 386/387 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M, Dumka.
On 09.04.2024, rangdari was demanded from the informant from mobile phone no. 8294062095. It appears that the said mobile phone was recovered from the house of the petitioner. During the course of investigation, mobile phone was recovered from the house of co-accused Mukesh Manjhi.
Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of Mukesh Manjhi. It was further submitted that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record.
Learned A.P.P. submitted that petitioner is accused in two other cases.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case and considering the fact that there is no cogent material against the petitioner on the record, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M, Dumka in connection with Dumka (T) P.S. Case No. 68/2024.
