The Superintending Engineer, Nalbari Circle (Irrigation), Nalbari issued a short notice inviting tender on 03.01.2025 for construction of 3 Nos. Solar Powered MDTW Scheme at Godira and Bori Chariapar village under SCSP for the year 2024-25 with an approximate value of Rs.1,07,49,000/- and the period of completion of work is specified as 3 (three) months. The petitioner is aggrieved with regard to the conditions of eligibility of bidder under A. General, 3 III (ii) wherein it provides that the bidder/contractor should have at least one single similar nature/ civil work order under Irrigation Department of value not less than 50% of the package value of the said tender. 3. Ms. D.S. Neog, learned standing counsel, Irrigation Department, has produced a Communication dated 24.01.2025 written by the Superintending Engineer, Nalbari Circle (Irrigation), Nalbari and addressed to the Chief Engineer, Irrigation, Assam with regard to correction of bid document for e-tender for the scheme “Construction of 3 Nos. Solar Powered MDTW Scheme at Godira and Bori Charipar village under SCSP for the year 2024-25.” The relevant portion of Page No.# 3/4 the Communication dated 24.01.2025 reads as under: To, The Chief Engineer, Irrigation, Assam, Chandmari, Guwahati-03 Sub- Correction of bid document for e-tender for the scheme “Construction of 3 Nos. Solar Powered MDTW Scheme at Godira and Bori Charipar village under SCSP for the year 2024-25” Ref : NIT No. NCI/NIT/TB-1/Pt.-V/2024-25/71 dtd. 03.01.2025 Sir, In inviting a reference to the above I like to state you that in the NIT floated from this end dated 03.01.2024 for “Construction of 3 Nos. Solar Powered MDTW Scheme at Godira and Bori Charipar village under SCSP for the year 2024-25” for a value of Rs.107.49 lakh with condition of bidder 50% of package value in single work order. In this NIT some mistakes are there. Therefore, the condition of bidder of 50% mentioned by mistake will be rectified as 30% of package value in single work order along with correcting other printing mistakes by uploading a corrigendum from this end at Assam.tenders.gov.in at the earliest.
