1. The affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner is kept with the record.
2. The petitioner claims that the piece of landed property has been given to the petitioner for a period of two years with effect from April 15, 2023 to April 14, 2025 with a condition that at the end of the period if the first party complies with all the conditions, the agreement shall be renewed every two years.
3. The petitioner submits that the agreement period was over on April 14, 2025 but the authorities have not renewed the lease agreement of the petitioner for a further period of two year. Accordingly, the petitioner has made representation to the authority on June 5, 2025 for consideration of the case of the petitioner for extension of the lease period.
4. The learned counsel for the respondents submits on instruction that the authorities have received objections from the villagers and the authorities have fixed the case for hearing and the authorities will decide accordingly.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, this Court finds that no purpose will be served if the writ petition is kept pending.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4, i.e., Purba Medinipur Zilla Parishad to consider the representation filed by the petitioner after giving an opportunity of hearing and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
7. Accordingly, WPA 17631 of 2025 is disposed of.
8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
