1. By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited prayer that the petitioner has submitted an application under Rule 144 of Petroleum Rules 2002 for issuance of no objection certificate (NOC) before the District Collector Raigarh, however the said application for grant of no objection certificate is not being considered by the Collector, though there is stipulated period prescribed under the Rule that on filing of such application, the said application should be decided within a period of 3 months. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that (Annexure P/1) is an application which has been filed on 18.05.2023 under Rule 144 of Petroleum Rules, 2002, though other formalities has already been completed, but the Collector is not issuing the NOC under the Rule 144 of Petroleum Rules 2002. Learned counsel further submit that the period prescribed under the Rule 2002 for deciding of such application is 3 months, but till date no order has been passed and the application is not being considered by the respondent Collector. 3. Learned State counsel would submit that if the application is still pending the same shall be considered and necessary order be passed within a stipulated period. 4.
Looking to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned State counsel, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Collector to decide the application dated
