1. Pursuant to the previous order passed by this Court, State counsel has placed on record a copy of order bearing endorsement No. 2012, dated 18.07.2025 to submit that a speaking order has been passed. Relevant part of the order is reproduced hereunder:-
“It is evident from the above that the total work executed
has
exceeded
the
originally allotted/agreement amount. Consequently, the Department has submitted an enhancement case amounting to Rs.11,06,87,158/- to the higher authorities for necessary approval. On this, an additional amount of Rs. 83,39,434/- is required from the client department, i.e., the Department of Higher & Technical Education, Punjab. 2. Upon instructions from Er. Tanupreet Kaur, Executive Engineer PWD (B&R), Pb. PD, Nawashahar, State counsel submits that the due payment would be made to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today.
3. Writ petition is disposed of.
4.
