Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:88786 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 7411 of 2025 Petitioner :- Shabana Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Jamil Ahamad Azmi,Mariyam Azmi Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Dharmaveer Singh Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioner claims that she is the widow of the deceased employee and is entitled to various dues of her late husband. She is being made to run from pillar to post for seeking her lawful entitlements. She has made a representation before the competent authority but to no avail. The only prayer made by Ms. Mariyam Azmi, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Dharmaveer Singh, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner has been granted appointment on compassionate grounds. However, he fairly contends that matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority in light of applicable provisions of law in the first instance. The service benefit/claim is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In wake of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 6 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner regarding grant of various dues of her late husband in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of.
