Mr. Dinesh Bankoti, Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. By means of this Writ Petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs:- “(i) Issue a writ rule or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the pension and other service dues of the petitioner along with 18% interest forthwith or within a time period which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case stated in the memo of the writ petition, after calling the entire records.” 4. Petitioner was an employee of the State Education Department. Thereafter, he was selected and appointed as Principal in Navodaya Vidyalaya. 5. According to the petitioner, he has not been paid pension for the services he rendered in the State Education Department. Since the petitioner has sought a writ of mandamus, therefore, we are of the opinion that ends of justice would be met if petitioner is permitted to approach the Competent Authority by making a representation. 6. We dispose of the Writ Petition by permitting the petitioner to make a fresh representation regarding his pension. If he makes such representation within ten days from today, the Competent Authority in the State Government shall take decision thereupon within four months from the date of receipt of such representation.
