Hon'ble Anish Kumar Gupta,J. 1. The petitioner is challenging the imposition of penalty to the tune of Rs. 7,32,500/- by the respondent Development Authority for late registration. 2. Admittedly, the petitioner had paid the amount under protest. A sub-lease was thereafter executed in favour of the petitioner. The only surviving issue is whether the penalty was rightly imposed. 3. Sri Kaushalendra Nath Singh, learned counsel for the respondent Development Authority submits that the Authority would examine the claim of the petitioner and pass a speaking order within six weeks. 4. The petition stands disposed of in terms of the statement made by learned counsel for the respondent Development Authority. Accordingly the Authority shall pass a speaking order in respect of the penalty realised from the petitioner within six weeks from today and communicates its decision to the petitioner immediately thereafter.
