The counsel for the applicant submits that since the marriage of the applicant is scheduled to be held on 17.05.2025, therefore, the instant bail application be treated as short term bail application. Accordingly, the instant bail application is treated as short term bail application. 4. Present applicant- Rajpal, S/o Kishan Singh is praying for short term bail in relation to FIR dated 17.08.2024, registered as FIR/Case Crime No. 517 of 2024 at P.S. Patel Nagar, District Dehradun which was lodged against unknown person for the offences punishable under Sections 70(3), 127(2), 238(3)(5) of BNS 2023 read with Section 5(g)/6 of the POCSO Act. 5. The applicant is praying for short term bail on the ground that the marriage of his daughter is scheduled to be held on 17.05.2025 in support of which invitation card is also annexed along with the bail application. 6. Mr. Siddharth Bisht, learned A.G.A. for the State, on written instructions, submits that this fact has been verified that marriage of the daughter of the applicant is scheduled to be held on 17.05.2025. 7. After taking into consideration that the marriage of applicant’s daughter is scheduled to be held on 17.05.2025, the short term bail application is allowed and 2025:UHC:3861 the applicant is granted short term bail for a period of one month . 8. Let the applicant be released on short term bail for a period of one month, to be reckoned from the date of release, on his executing a personal bond and furnishing two reliable sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned. 9. Needles to say, on completion of one month period, to be reckoned from the date of release, the applicant shall surrender before the court concerned. 10.
