2. According to him, the application preferred by the petitioner under Section 39 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, 1959 (for short, the said Act) is pending before the respondent-Authority.
3. Accordingly, considering the mandate of the said Act, we direct respondent-Authority to decide the application preferred by the petitioner under Section 39 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act, within a period of six weeks from today.
4. The petitioner is directed to produce copy of this order before the respondent Authority within a period of one week.
5. With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
