The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent no.2 to decide the Revision No.310/2019 in Case No.883/2014-15 (Madan and Others vs. Akhilesh Tiwari and Others), under Section 48(1) of the U.P. C.H. Act, pending before respondent no.2 within the stipulated period." 3. Counsel for the petitioner states that revision filed on behalf of petitioner was beyond time by 18 days, is pending before the Deputy Director of Consolidation/respondent No.2 since 21.5.2014. He further submitted that appropriate direction be issued to the revisional court to decide the revision within time bound period. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2/Deputy Director of Consolidation, Gorakhpur to decide the aforesaid revision, considering the delay condonation matter, if any, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 3 months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, in accordance with law.
