A prayer made for grant of anticipatory bail before the Additional Sessions Judge, Nalagarh stands rejected vide order dated 17.01.2025. Hence, the present petition seeking grant of anticipatory bail. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has placed on record status report filed in the case at hand before the Additional Sessions Judge, Nalagarh. 2 From a perusal of the same, it is evident that prima facie an offence for commission of a cognizable offence against the bail petitioner has been made out. Therefore, the FIR in the 1 Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 case at hand does not seem to have been got registered to wreak vengeance on the present bail petitioner. From a perusal of the status report filed before the trial Court, it is evident that the Act of the bail petitioner has had an effect of scaring other women working in the hotel where both the accused & the victim were working. Taking into account the same, the present petition is dismissed being devoid of any merit. (Bipin Chander Negi) Vacation Judge January 20, 2025 tarun
