Issue a writ of nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3 authority to issue separate record of rights pertaining to survey no. 28/1 entering the name of the petitioner in Column No. 9 situated at Sangapura Village of Gangavati Taluk in pursuance of the Saguvali Chitti (Grant Order) bearing No. Van/Aasapa/551/02-03 dated 20.05.2025 vide Annexure-E in the interest of justice and equity. b. Such other writ or order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fits on the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. 3. Learned AGA submits that the said land is forest land. 5. Whether the said land is forest land or otherwise. When an application has been filed it would be required for the respondents to pass necessary orders in accordance with law. Without accepting or rejecting the said application, merely claiming that the land is forest land would not entitle the respondent to sit on the application filed by the petitioner. 6. In that view of the matter, I pass the following; ORDER i. The writ petition is partly-allowed. ii. A mandamus is issued, directing respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 21.06.2024, within a period of eight weeks from date of receipt of this copy of this order. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:10233 WP No. 104243 of 2025 iii.
