No 544/1)with an extent of 1.01 cres and S. No 544/5 with an extent of 65 cnets, situated at Chinna salme (south) kallakurichi district. For Petitioner(s): T. Side) ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for police protection to the 4th respondent for removing the thorn bushes and measuring the aforesaid land with the assistance of the Head Surveyor, in order to erect iron fences on the petitioners lands comprised in survey o 544/ 1B (old S. No 544/1)with an extent of 1.01 cres and S. No 544/5 with an extent of 65 cnets, situated at Chinna salme (south) kallakurichi district. 2. This Court is of the view that if the petitioner seeks a survey of the subject land upon payment of the required fee to the concerned authority, and if the surveyor finds any obstruction from third parties, namely respondents 5 to 7, the surveyor is at liberty to seek adequate police protection to complete the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 16590 of 2025 __________ Page3 of 4 survey. Upon receipt of such a request from the surveyor for police protection, the concerned jurisdictional police is directed to conduct an enquiry, after issuing prior notice to the petitioner and respondents 5 to 7, and pass appropriate orders with regard to providing police protection. 3.
