JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ) 1. Learned AGA accepts notice for Respondents No.1 and 2. 2. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2025 and 23.5.2025 vide Annexure-A & B, and enter the name of the petitioner in the records of the suit property. b. Issue such any other writ/order/direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit. 3. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the application which has been submitted for mutating the name of the Petitioner in the revenue records in respect of the land in Sy.No.198 of Bayiridevarkoppa village, subsequent to the death of his father, has not been acted upon. Whenever any representation has been submitted by a citizen to any authority, it is required that the said Representation to be acted upon and necessary orders to be passed, either accepting or rejecting the Representation submitted in accordance with law. Needless to say, if an order of rejection is passed, the same would have to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i) The Writ petition is allowed. ii) A mandamus is issued directing Respondent No.2 to consider the representations of the Petitioner dated 2.5.2025 and 23.5.2025 at Annexures-A and B within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
