JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: A. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to consider and process her post for admitting to grant in aid in terms of the recommendations dated 09-11-2015 made by the three men committee vide Annexure-C. B. Issue such other writ, order or direction as may be appropriate. 2. The petitioner is appointed as a lecturer in June 2012 in the Department of Economics at the 1st respondent college. At the time when the petitioner was appointed, the Institution was yet to get its grants at the hands of the State. All the other teaching faculty are said to have been brought under the ambit of grant except the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation seeking a direction to the hands of the respondents to consider him also to be brought within the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:15148 WP No. 102250 of 2025 ambit of grant in terms of the recommendation of the Institution dated 09.11.2015. The said representation having gone unheeded till date, has driven the petitioner to this Court in the subject petition. 3. The learned HCGP, on instructions would submit that, if reasonable time is granted, the case of the petitioner would be considered in strict consonance with law and appropriate orders would be passed. 4. In the light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for the purpose of admission to grant as is done in the cases of other teachers, strictly in accordance with law and pass necessary orders thereon at any rate within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
