JUSTICE B.M.SHYAM PRASAD) The appellant, whose marriage to the respondent is dissolved by the impugned judgment and decree dated 02.08.2016 in M.C.No.5/2013 on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Yellapura sitting at Haliyal, has filed an application [I.A.No.1/2024] for dismissal of the appeal. The appellant stated thus in the affidavit accompanying the application. “3) That, during pendency of this Appeal the matter has been settled between myself the Appellant herein and the Respondent in Criminal Miscellaneous No.90/2021 (earlier No.258/2020) on the file of learned Civil Judge and JMFC, Kagwad. Wherein, the Respondent herein has paid Full and Final Amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) towards permanent alimony and other liability to me and my Minor Daughter. Thus, it was decided that I shall not claim any Amount against the Respondent or my Daughter in this regard. Hence, it was finally settled for the said amount between the parties.
