GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents. 2. Challenging the Notification, dated 28.12.2018 issued by the respondent No.2 under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-Settlement 2 Act, 2013 and the consequential proceedings including declaration in Form No.VII, dated 28.01.2020, the present writ petition is filed. 3. The 2nd respondent – Land Acquisition Officer has filed counter-affidavit on behalf of the respondents. A perusal of the same would reflect that an alternate land was identified in the place of the subject land and the same was acquired after obtaining consent from the respective land owners in order to issue house site pattas in favour of the beneficiaries. It is stated that except issuance of declaration of notice under Section 21 and 22 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-Settlement Act, 2013, no further steps were taken up in respect of the land and it is further stated that the petitioners are in possession of the subject land. 4. Recording the said submissions made on behalf of the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
