THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ)
1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: (a) Issue the writ in the nature of the mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 14.12.2022 made by the petitioner to the respondent vide ANNEXURE-D and thereby direct the respondent to pay the arrears of salary from 01.10.2017 to 15.04.2018 for a period of 06 months 15 days for an amount of Rs.16,25,000/- with 10 interest, in the interest of justice; and
(b) To grant such other relief or reliefs as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case by allowing the above petition in the interest of justice and equity.
2. What has been sought for is a mandamus for
consideration of the representation dated 14.12.2022 filed by the petitioner for payment of arrears of salary.

The respondent is a public limited company and is not a public authority or an authority discharging public functions.
3. Reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Civil Court seeking appropriate remedies, the petition stands disposed of.
4. In view of disposal of the writ petition, pending interlocutory applications, if any, do not survive for
consideration and are disposed of accordingly.
