Through the instant writ petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner throws challenge to the order dated 02.04.2024 (Annexure P-9) passed by the State Information Commission (respondent no.1). The petitioner also seeks for issuance of a direction to respondent no.1 to provide the information as sought through the application dated 10.01.2022 (Annexure P-1), and in terms of the order dated 24.08.2022 (Annexure P-4). Additionally, the petitioner also seeks to punish respondent no. 4, and imposition of penalty upon him. It has been the stand of respondents no.3 to 5 before the State Information Commissioner, that they have already supplied the requisite information. However, the said claim is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, and submits that no such information has, in fact, been provided. 3. Today, Mr. Jagdish Manchanda, Advocate, who has caused appearance on behalf respondents no.3 to 5, has placed on record a photocopy of the office report, alongwith the information, as sought, which according to him, has already been provided to the petitioner. The same is ordered to be taken on record as Mark 'A'. 4. In view of the above factual position, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied as the information qua points no.1 and 2 has been supplied, and does not want to pursue the instant petition any further, however, with liberty to approach the office of the SPIO concerned, qua point no.3. 5. Disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.
