The prayer made in the instant petition is for a direction to respondent no.2 to accord benefits of rehabilitation and settlement package under Government Order dated 30.10.2014 and decide the applications filed by the petitioners in this behalf dated 16.12.2024 and 01.01.2025. 2. The case of the petitioners is that their land was taken over by the respondents for construction of a dam. The Government Order dated 30.10.2014 was issued for rehabilitating three generations of the affected families. The petitioners claim that the benefits under the said government order have not been given to them despite repeated representations. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that in identical facts and circumstances in Writ-C No. 7810 of 2025 this Court has directed respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioners of that case in the light of Government Order. It is submitted that similar direction may be issued in this case. 4. Sri Rajiv Gupta, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel has no objection to the same. 5. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merits, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh individual representations alongwith documentary evidence in support of their claim before respondent no. 2 and in which event, he will examine the claim of the petitioners within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the claim and will pass a speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioners.
