JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This writ appeal filed under Section 4 of the Karnataka High Court Act is directed against the order dated 03.07.2024 in W.P.No.101980/2024 whereunder, this Court directed the appellant to pay interest at the rate of 6% p.a. on the delayed payment of leave encashment amount within eight weeks. Failing to pay the amount within eight weeks, it was directed to pay interest at the rate of 9% p.a. instead of 6% p.a. 2. Today, learned counsel appearing for the parties i.e., Sri.Prashanth Hosmani counsel for appellant- Corporation as well as Sri.Ravi Hegde, learned counsel for respondent have filed a joint memo of settlement whereunder, the appellant-Corporation has agreed to pay interest at the rate of 7% p.a. and respondent has agreed to receive interest at 7% p.a. as against 9% ordered by the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14534-DB WA No. 100673 of 2025 learned single Judge on the belated payment of leave encashment. 3.
