Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record. 2. The instant writ petition has been filed for following relief: " (a). issue a order or direction to the learned court below to decide the case no. 914 of 2023 (Bagish Chaurasiya Versus Dharmendra and another), under section 9 C.P.C. along with 6-C application pending before him, within short span of time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court and further be pleased to direct the respondents not to interfere in peaceful possession of the petitioner." 3. Contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner is a senior citizen aged about 84 years and an application for interim injunction (6C Application) is pending before the Civil Judge (J.D.), District Jaunpur and the same has not been decided despite several dates have been fixed. He prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously. 4. In view of above, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the Civil Judge (J.D.), District Jaunpur to consider and decide the interim injunction application (6C Application), in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order. It is expected that the suit itself be decided within a period of eighteen months, thereafter after ensuring service of notice upon all the respondents and after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned provided that there is no other legal impediment.
