By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has challenged the order dated 26.04.2025 whereby penalty in the nature of censure has been awarded to him. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for petitioner that the recovery is also to be pursued against the petitioner under the order impugned. 4. Learned Standing Counsel on the contrary submits that the petitioner has efficacious alternative remedy of appeal before the appellate authority who may be directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, while I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage, I hereby provide that in the event petitioner prefers departmental appeal against the order impugned within a period of four weeks from today the same shall be disposed of within a further period of two months by means of reasoned and speaking order and following the procedure prescribed for under the relevant rules. 6. Until such disposal of appeal no recovery shall be pursued against the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 26.04.2025.
