Present application preferred under Section 528 of B.N.S.S., 2023 is supported with the compounding application and the same is also supported with the affidavits of applicant well as respondent no.2/complainant. 5. Applicant and respondent no.2 are present in the Court. They are duly identified by their respective counsel. 6. By means of this C528 application Applicant sought quashing of further proceedings of Criminal Case No.1534 of 2023 passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pithoragarh as well as the FIR No.0280 of 2022 dated 21.12.2022 for the offence punishable under Section 67A of the Information of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 registered at Police Station- Kotwali Pithoragarh, District Pithoragarh. 7. Learned counsel for the parties submit that applicant has entered into a compromise with respondent no.2 and therefore, she is ready to get the offences compounded and the same is agreed upon by means of a compromise mutually entered into by the parties. 2025:UHC:5009 8. Since the parties involved have been heard and the statements so made also been asserted by the learned counsel, the matter is accordingly, compounded. 9. In view of the observation as above, the compounding application is allowed. The further proceeding of Criminal Case No.1534 of 2023 passed by learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pithoragarh as well as the FIR No.0280 of 2022 dated 21.12.2022 for the offence punishable under Section 67A of the Information of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 registered at Police Station- Kotwali Pithoragarh, District Pithoragarh are quashed. 10.
