This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed with a prayer to direct the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Varanasi to consider and decide the application filed by the petitioner registered as Misc. Case No.235 of 2004 (Karmveer Jaiswal vs. Priyanka Jaiswal) under section 340 Cr.P.C., Police Station Shivpur, District Varanasi in the proceeding of Petition No.252 of 2021 (Karmveer Jaiswal vs. Priyanka Jaiswal) under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 within the time which may be stipulated by this Court. Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since 2004. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.
