To issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 24.02.2023 and 09.03.2023, vide Annexure-A and B and to take appropriate decision to transfer the Petitioner from Galemmanagudi Centre to Sunkadakallu Centre in accordance with law and in the interest of justice and equity. 2. Grant such other reliefs as deemed fit in the circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The petitioner has been working as an Anganwadi worker since 1987 at Galemmanagudi Village, Danapur - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:9453 WP No. 102534 of 2025 Division, Hospete Taluk. The petitioner had on a vacancy having arisen made an applications for transfer to Sunkadakallu Centre, Kudligi Taluk, on 24.02.2023 and 27.02.2023 since the said village is the residence of the petitioner’s husband. However, despite the submission of the applications, no decision has been taken by the concerned authorities. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner submitted representations on 24.02.2023 and 27.02.2023, produced as per Annexures-A and C, but no action has been taken by the respondents, and the request remains unaddressed. 5. Whenever a request for transfer is made, the same is required to be considered and necessary orders either accepting or rejecting the request is to be passed within a reasonable time, the same not having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i) The writ petition is allowed. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:9453 WP No. 102534 of 2025 ii) The respondent No.4 is directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioners’ application dated 24.02.2023 and 09.03.2023 within period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
