Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Learned Additional Advocate General has handed over a copy of Instructions, dated 01.08.2025, received from Executive Engineer, HPPWD Divisional, Chopal, District Shimla, H.P., which are taken on record and relevant portion thereof reads as under:- “In the above titled matter, I have the honour to refer to your office letter No. 41150 dated 10.07.2025 and direction dated 9.07.2025 passed by Hon'ble Court. In this regard, it is submitted that the matter was taken up with govt. and govt. vide letter No. PWD-C-E-283301 dated 19.07.2025 has conveyed its approval to implement the judgment subject to outcome of SLP pending before Hon'ble Supreme Court. The necessary directions have also been issued to LAC (SZ) HPPWD Shimla by the higher authority 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:26361 vide letter dated 29.07.2025 to process the necessary papers for issuance of notification u/s 11. Accordingly, the papers for issuance of notification u/s 11 are being prepared and notification shall be issued at the earliest. Further proceedings in the matter shall also be completed as per provisions of Act.” 2. In the light of contents of aforementioned Instructions, these proceedings are closed with the observation that let the proceedings for acquisition of the land be completed within a period of six months from today. 3. The petition stands disposed of, but with liberty to the petitioners that in case needful is not done within a period of six months from today, then they may file an appropriate application for revival of these proceedings.
