(C) No. 703 of 2022 has been complied by issuing order dated 23.01.2026 issued by Principal Secretary (Works), Govt. of Manipur thereby promoting 57 nos. of Jr. Engineers (Civil) to the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil)/ Assistant Surveyor of Works (Civil) in PWD including the petitioner herein. [2] Mr. S. Niranjan, learned GA for the State respondent, Mrs. O. Momota, learned sr. counsel assisted by Ms. S. Gitanjali, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4 and Ms. I. Bimola, learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 submit that the contempt petition may be closed. [3] Recording the submissions made at the bar and subsequent event of compliance of this Court order, the cause of the contempt petition does not survive and hence, the Cont.
