1. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is not named in the FIR. The mobile number referred to in the FIR also does not belong to him. Petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged cyber fraud. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail.
2. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits petitioner is an employee of a micro finance company. He along with co-accused induced unsuspecting depositors to share their finger prints for loan purposes. Thereafter, the finger prints were cloned and the accounts hacked causing wrongful loss.
3. We have considered the materials on record. Involvement of the petitioner in cyber fraud is evident from materials collected during investigation. His custodial interrogation to unravel the ramifications of the crime is necessary. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
