The appeal is of the year 1986 and the matter is taken up in the revised list which has been listed under the caption of oldest pending cases in the High Court for priority hearing. Though the name of Sri R.K. Srivastava, learned counsel for the appellants has been shown in the cause list but none appears on behalf of the appellants. Challenge in this appeal U/s 374 Cr.P.C. is the judgment and the order dated passed on 18.03.1986 passed by Special Judge, Additional Sessions Judge Jalaun at Orai in S.T. No. 151 of 1984 convicting the appellant U/s 306 IPC and sentencing them to undergo rigorous imprisonment of five years each. The appeal came to be presented before this Court in the year 1986. There is an office report dated 13.06.2025 which reads as under: "It is humbly submitted that a letter dated 13.10.2021 flat A has been received from CJM Jalaun wherein it is stated that appellants 1- Krishna Prasad and 2 Ram Payari have died. The case is put up for orders." The office report depicts that there is a report of In-charge CJM dated 13.10.2021 that both the appellants Krishna Prasad and Ram Payari have died.
