AG CORAM: HON’BLE MS JUSTICE MOKSHA KHAJURIA KAZMI, JUDGE (ORDER) 01.01.2025 In the instant petition, petitioner is seeking direction upon respondents to accord consideration for issuance of requisite Vehicular documents in particular Route Permit, remission of tax for the period of non-plying etc., enabling the writ petitioner to ply the stranded vehicle within a time bound period. It is stated that the petitioner is owner of the Vehicle Sumo (Registration No. JK 09 0597) which was stolen in 2006, recovered in 2011 and released under the orders of the Court in 2012. The petitioner applied for issuance of duplicate vehicular documents, but till date no action has been taken on the application of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner would feel satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for issuance of requisite vehicular documents within a reasonable period of time. Reply has not been filed by Mohammad Yaseen Dar I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document the respondents till date. Mr. Aman, learned Dy. AG, is not averse to the proposition made by learned counsel for the petitioner. His statement is taken on record. In view of above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents 2 to 4 to accord consideration to the claim of the petitioner for issuance of requisite vehicular documents within a period of two months from the date of passing of this order, provided there is no legal impediment.
