1. Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

This Petition can be disposed of by directing Respondent No. 2 – Joint Director of Higher Education, Pune Region, Pune to decide the proposal for approval of the Petitioner’s appointment on probation with efect from 24th February 2022 to the post of full-time Assistant Professor in Respondent No. 5-College. The Respondent No. 2 shall decide the said proposal within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order. Shubham Talle 1 of

3. If there are any deiciencies in the proposal, the Respondent No. 2 shall communicate the same to Respondent Nos. 3 to 6 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the proposal. Respondent Nos. 3 to 6 shall cure/rectify such deiciencies within two weeks thereafter. The proposal pertains to the approval of the appointment dated 11th June 2020.

Learned Counsel for the Respondent Nos. 3 to 6 assures that within a period of one week from today the copies of the proposal will also be submitted to the Respondent No. 2.
5. Needless to mention, if the proposal is approved, the arrears of salary shall be paid to the Petitioner expeditiously and, in any event, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of such approval.
