It is brought to our notice that in another Writ Petition No.1818/2025, this Court appears to have directed status quo to be maintained but the said petition is admittedly not concerned with the election to the post of Upa-Sarpanch. Hence, the same ought not to come in the way of the conducting elections for the post of Upa-Sarpanch in Gram Panchayat Gorphadwadi, Taluka Rahuri, District Ahilyanagar. 3. In that light, we direct the Respondent/Authorities to take immediate steps for conducting election for the post of Upa-Sarpanch in 2025:BHC-AUG:22300-DB ( 2 ) 947 wp 9494.25 accordance with law.
